Two years ago Garth photographed a wild meadow filled with color and flowing with all kinds of native and invasive flowers at the peak of their bloom. A week later he returned to this meadow to find everything had been mowed down. These illustrations depict the inherent beauty of the invasive weeds and wildflowers that were spread throughout that meadow in that fleeting moment. This series reminds us that the only difference between a weed and a flower is our own judgment.
Each of these plants has medicinal benefits and/or value to agriculture and the environment.
